530 Beach Cleanup in Action: Fighting Marine Debris Together! EA-HWA Charity Care Association Joins Families for the Third Consecutive Year to Protect Changhua’s West Coast

110 Volunteers Gather in Shengang to Restore a Cleaner Coastline

As climate change and marine pollution continue to pose growing global challenges, EA-HWA Enterprise Industrial Co., Ltd. firmly believes in the principle of "Giving back to society through meaningful action." We are committed to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our corporate values and long-term business strategy.
To put our sustainability commitment into action, EA-HWA proudly supported and sponsored the 3rd Annual "530 Beach Cleanup in Action: Fighting Marine Debris Together!" event, organized by the Changhua County EA-HWA Charity Care Association on May 30, 2026.
The event brought together 110 local volunteers, employees, parents, and children, all working side by side to remove marine debris from the coastline of Shengang Township, Changhua County, helping restore the beauty of Taiwan's western shoreline.

Supporting Volunteers Through Practical Resources

Organizing a large-scale environmental event requires more than enthusiasm—it requires tangible support. As a corporate sponsor, EA-HWA Enterprise Industrial Co., Ltd. provided essential resources to help ensure the event's success.

Corporate Transportation Support
EA-HWA dispatched company vehicles to transport tables, event equipment, beach-cleaning tools, and donated supplies, ensuring smooth logistics throughout the event.

Employee Volunteer Participation
EA-HWA encouraged employees to dedicate part of their weekend to community service. Together with local residents and families, volunteers collected plastic bottles, Styrofoam, fishing debris, and other marine waste along the Zengjia Village estuary. Beyond protecting the coastline, the event also created meaningful opportunities for families to learn about environmental stewardship together.

Volunteer Safety Equipment
To help protect participants during cleanup activities, EA-HWA fully sponsored high-quality protective gloves, allowing volunteers to safely handle sharp or hazardous debris while contributing to a cleaner environment.

Promoting Environmental Education for Future Generations

Having deep roots in Changhua County for more than three decades, EA-HWA recognizes that environmental protection begins with education.
This year's beach cleanup was designed not only as a volunteer activity but also as an environmental learning experience.
Both the opening and closing sessions were held at the White Dolphin House (Changhua County Nature Ecology Education Center), one of Changhua's best-known environmental education landmarks. Professional guides introduced local marine ecosystems and explained the importance of coastal conservation to volunteers and children alike.
By supporting programs that combine hands-on environmental action with ecological education, EA-HWA hopes to inspire younger generations to value sustainability and become future environmental stewards.

Moving Toward a Greener Future Through ESG

"True sustainability is achieved when businesses and communities grow stronger together."
As a professional manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience, EA-HWA remains committed to expanding its environmental initiatives, community engagement, and ESG programs.
Whether through manufacturing excellence, charitable partnerships, or environmental conservation, we will continue creating long-term value for society while contributing to a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Community Support Makes Every Act of Kindness Possible

The beach cleanup concluded successfully thanks to the collective efforts of volunteers, community organizations, and generous sponsors.
EA-HWA General Manager Mr. Yao prepared freshly baked egg tarts for every volunteer who participated throughout the event as a token of appreciation. Additional sponsors generously donated towels, bottled water, shaved ice, frozen desserts, and refreshing beverages, helping volunteers stay energized during the summer heat.
EA-HWA sincerely thanks the following supporters:

  • Changhua County Government — County Magistrate Wang Huei-mei for sponsoring commemorative towels

  • Legislator Chen Hsiu-pao for donating 10 cases of bottled water

  • Shengang Township Representatives Council — Representative Ko Tsun-wei for donating 10 cases of bottled water

  • Liwei Ice Desserts — Mr. Ko Chun-yao for sponsoring frozen treats

  • Xin An Tang Date Selection Center — Mr. Ko Wen-ping for sponsoring refreshing slush drinks

  • Changhua Tour Guide Association — Mr. Chen Ching-hsien for providing ecological tours at the White Dolphin House

The Changhua County EA-HWA Charity Care Association, together with EA-HWA Enterprise Industrial Co., Ltd., also extends heartfelt appreciation to the supervising organization, Changhua County Government, the supporting organization, Shengang Township Office, and every volunteer and local resident who participated.
We look forward to welcoming even more participants next year as we continue working together to protect Taiwan's beautiful coastline.
